    Karl J. Forehand - Philosophy of Ministry  

    1.  The Church is an Organism -  The church is referred to as a
    body and a family.  Although it needs some organization, it
    functions differently than a corporation.

    2.  The Supremacy of Love - More than "knowledge" we need
    the wisdom to love people.  Love is a verb.

    3.  The Infallibility of Scripture - We need to have the courage
    to trust the Scripture.  Preach the Word, Teach the Word. Live
    the Word.

    4.  The Pitfalls of Tradition - Although tradition comforts us, it
    can become a crutch that cripples us from the mission.

    5.  The Three Great Things - Churches should be built around
    the "Great Commission(Go and make disciples), the Great
    Commandment(Love God and Love people) and the Great
    Confession ("You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God").
